However, if a member obtains the floor and moves the Previous Question before a reasonable opportunity to make suggestions has been given, the Chair must call for suggestions before stating the motion for the Previous Question.]

or decreasing order would be preferable:

  i. largest number

 ii. longest time

 iii. most distant date

ORGANIZING SUGGESTIONS By the Chair

 

[Possible Ordered Suggestions Consideration by the Chair for a 5-day Out-Of-Town Meeting:

Distance from the current residency, Cost of traveling (Air, Hotel, food, etc.), Time of Traveling (by Car, by Plane, etc.), Familial Status (Single, Married, Having Minor Kids), Age of the Members, Having Fun vacation and relaxation,  etc.

Based on the above factors, I decide the following orders, in Order of their probable acceptability, beginning with the least popular choice for a 5-day Winter Location for a group I am associated with.] 

"Lincoln/NE," "Honolulu/HI," "NYC/NY," "Los Angeles/CA," "San Antonio/TX," and "Dallas/TX."

 

Voting Method and Selecting the Location

[We will Vote on each proposal, based on their order, separately until one receives the Majority.

  • The First Suggestion Receiving Majority Fills Blank

  • Other Suggestions Are Ignored and Not Voted On.

  • When the Blank is Filled, Then the Motion is Voted On.]
